Daddy Daughter Dance 2009

I wanted to share the picture of Steve & Stephanie Daddy Daughter Dance. If you can remember last year Stephanie got the flu and didn't get to go, but boy this year she made up. Her and her daddy did the bunny hop, slow dance, and danced their last dance to "Butterfly Kisses". Steve said he was so glad it was dark, because he had tears in his eyes. I am so happy they had a good time. Stephanie also won one of the door prizes, she gets a free manicure.

GOD IS GOOD

GOD IS GOOD.... I went today to talk with the doctor about my test results. There were only one spot that lite up in the lung (a lot smaller then the last time) and they could not find the two spots on my spine. I went in knowing there was nothing they could do for the ones on the spine, but chemo for the rest of my life to keep it from spreading and now they can't even see where they were... Isn't God in control of things.... The doctor was very happy with the results and we are going to continue the chemo treatment for another 3 month and redo the scan in May. When we went to pick the kids up from School, Stephanie ran up to me and told me that she prayed really hard for me today. I told her that her prayers were answered and her mommy was getting better. She wrapped her arms around me and started crying. She keep telling me I am crying Happy Tears Mom.... God is so powerful. Just because I am getting better please don't stop praying for me, it is the prayers and Our faith in God that has got me were I am today, and I know without him WE will be know were. Thanks again for all the prayers and please keep them coming.

Love In Christ Always,
Renee

PS: I will get to go back to work part-time on March 2nd as long as my health stay on the good side.

Happy 20th Anniversary.

I can't believe that 20 years ago, we took this picture. It has been the best 20 years. I love you so much Steve. You have been the best husband a girl could ask for. You are my best friend, and I love spending time with you and the kids. Today was a great day, even though we didn't want to go to Red Lobster, I think Stephanie made the right choice. I love that "we" as a family, spend this day together and every other day together. We are the four amigo's and I cant image us ever apart. People has ask us if we do everything together? What is a marriage or a family if we are not together. Thanks for being there for me during this last battle with Cancer, you have been my rock. God has blessed me so much and I am thankful that HE sent you and the kids to me. I love you and thanks for everything you do for me.

Chemo & Doctor Appointment Update

Yesterday I had a chemo treatment & I also saw my doctor. Chemo went really good, so far no nausea. The doctor was very happy with how my symptoms had improved. She is still worried about my cold and cough. They have put me on another antibiotics and sinus medicine. We have decrease my doses of steroids, so hopefully my lymphedema in my left arm will improve. We talked about the numbing in my fingers, and we have decrease the chemo 15 %, plus another medicine. All together I have three new prescription I will be taken. I will have a PET scan with a CAT scan included in three weeks. This will show if the spots inside my lungs has struck or gone, the x-ray I had two weeks ago showed two perfect lungs on the outside (only), so improvement has been made. Thank you GOD. Pet scan will also show the bone and what improve that has made.

Thank you for all the prayers, PLEASE KEEP THEM COMING.

God's Hope

I know it has been awhile since I have updated everyone on me. Last week I was really tried. I think it was were I didn't get as much rest during the Christmas break and it all caught up with me. I took a lot of naps last week. I am doing really good as far as the nausea, but the joint pain, sore mouth and throat has been really bad this past two weeks. I am now starting to have some numbing in the fingers and toes, which this is all side effects from the chemo. My lymphedema in my arm has been giving me problems this past weekend and all week. My hand looks like a plastic balloon glove. I can handle all this as long as the chemo keeps working. The kids are doing really good, I think it did them good spending time with us during the Christmas break. I have lost all my hair now, but the kids did good with it this time, they even watched mom shave my head. Thanks again for all the support, love, and most of all the prayers. Please keep the prayers coming, through God all things are possible.

We took this on the phone the other day when a storm came through. Look at the HOPE God has brought us. (you cant see it really good, but this was a double rainbow)

5th Chemo Treatment

Today I went for my 5th chemo treatment. Everything went really good, my brother Russell went with us, so Steve could watch the kids. The doctor didn't like how I was coughing so she sent me for another chest xray. It scared us, but the result came back clear and there was no infection and the spot that was there on September the 16th was not there. So the chemo treatment is working. So please keep the prayers coming, they are working. The doctor put me on another antibiotic, she said that it is a bad cold and it is just going to take me longer to heal.

I hope everyone had a very nice Christmas, the kids had a blast and enjoyed all there toys from Santa. I want to thank everyone who played Santa for my kids. You made Christmas for them. God will bless each and everyone of you for your kindness.

Thanks for everyone who has sent food, cards, money, and most of all for all the prayers. The prayers are being answered, so please keep them coming.

Love In Christ,
Steve, Renee, Stephanie, and Steven Moore
