Hello Everyone,
I met with my Cancer Doctor yesterday, and she was very happy with my check up. All my counts are now back in the normal range. Thank you God! Today I go for a scan and if everything goes ok with the scan I will move to 6 weeks check-up instead of every two weeks. I am very happy with this move, but scared at the same time.
I have now completed two weeks of my Radiation, I am starting to get red, and so the doctor has given me a new prescription for lotion. She said since I have fear skin, I am getting burn sooner then most people. I still have a month left of Radiation treatments.
Thanks again for all the prayers, love and support. I know without God, I would not be were I am today.
Love in Christ Always,
Renee

Snacks
Yesterday was my day to supply snacks for our Sunday School Class. I made Chocolate Chip Cookies, Chocolate Pound Cake, Pumpkin Pound Cake, Apple Cobbler, and Chocolate Éclair Cake. I thought surely I will bring some home for us, I was wrong. All I brought home was a little of the Pumpkin Cake and some of the Chocolate Éclair Cake. Everyone ate like they have not ate all weekend, I told Steve either it was so bad people throw it away or it was really good. I'm not sure which one. Steve said it was good, he keep seeing people go for seconds and thirds...

Radiation Treatment Update
I have completed my first week of Radiation, and everything is going really good. I have a scan done every 5th treatment to make sure they are treating the correct area, and the also keep a check on my heart and lung. I also see the radiation doctor every Monday, and yesterday she said that the 1st scan looks really good, and right now she see no damage to my lung or heart. GO GOD....
So far I have had no changes to the effected area. The doctor told me to apply Udderly Smooth Udder Cream twice a day to help to prevent any burning and dry skin. So far the cream is working really well.
Thanks again for all the prayers.

PRAYER REQUEST
Hello Everyone, I am Travis and my mommy and daddy found out this week, that I need surgery on my spine. My spine is growing "s" shape, which is causing my heart, lungs and other organ to move around. I am now starting to have problems breathing. We talked with the doctor and he wanted to wait until I am 12, which is in two year, so I can grow a little more. But since I am having problem, they need to make a decision to have the surgery a little earlier. If I have the surgery the doctor will have to pull my body and stretch it, then they will line my heart, lungs in place and put metal plates in my spine to hold it together. The doctor said I might not make it through surgery, but if I don’t have the surgery, the doctor said I will have to go live with Jesus.
This week Make a Wish Foundation is trying to set up a vacation with me and my family. My mommy told them that I love horses, water, and I love being around my younger brothers and sister. Hopefully we can go on Vacation before my brothers, and sister start school.
The doctor says my brain doesn’t work, but they can’t understand why I can laugh, and following the sound of my mommy, daddy, brothers and sister voices. I can respond to my doctor’s voice also. The doctor doesn’t know why and how, but I know why “Jesus”
Will everyone please say a prayer for me, and my family? I don’t like seeing my family so sad.
Thanks and God Bless You.
Travis

1st Radiation Treatment
Yesterday I had my first Radiation treatment, it went really good. It is so weird how they set me up for the treatment. They have a red beam and a green beam that they have to match up with my four new tattoos’ that outline the affective area. I feel like someone has played connect the dots on me, the only bad thing they use a sharpie black and red magic marker... This doesn’t come off very easy, but what is a little ink...... I had blood work also yesterday and all of my counts are really good except for my hemoglobin. So they had to give me another shot to boost it up. I knew my hemoglobin was low because I was getting really tired. I will continue my treatment everyday except for the weekends until August 29. Thanks again for all the prayers.

PATTESON REUNION 2007
Today was our family reunion in West Virginia. The weather was really nice and the kids had a blast. I love watching the kids play with their cousins. On the way up there, we saw a Deer standing on the side of the road. Steve was so afraid it would jump out in front of us. I wish I could have grabbed the camera before it run off. All of my mom's brothers and sisters was there except two of the brothers. Uncle Clayton was called home last August and my Uncle Kyle Alzheimer's disease has gotten so bad that he was unable to be with us. Even though they weren't with us this year, they were there in spirit.

GOD IS ALL AROUND
The man whispered, "God, speak to me"
and a meadowlark sang.
But, the man did not hear.
So the man yelled, "God, speak to me"
and the thunder rolled across the sky.
But, the man did not listen.
The man looked around and said,
"God let me see you."
And a star shined brightly.
But the man did not see.
And, the man shouted,
"God show me a miracle."
And, a life was born.
But, the man did not notice.
So, the man cried out in despair,
"Touch me God, and let me know you are here." Whereupon, God reached down and touched the man.
But, the man brushed the butterfly away ...
and walked on.
.....................................................................................
I found this to be a great reminder that God
is always around us in the little and simple things
that we take for granted ... Don't miss out on a blessing
because it isn't packaged the way that you expect.
