Surgery Update

This is the first time I am able to update anyone, surgery went really good. They removed the left breast, an they took out only two lymph nodes. Plus they put in the porter catheter for chemo. I feel like I was ran over by a truck. I should find out about the lymph nodes tomorrow.

They sent me home the very next day, with no stitch or staples, they only used tape.

The kids are doing really great with everything, they want to watch Steve drain my tubes. So we let them, Steven ask if it is time to drain my blood. Mom stayed with us for two days, she went home Christmas eve. Steve has been wonderful, helping me with everything and when I mean everything I mean everything. I am typing with one arm now. I hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas and thanks so much for the prayer and all the wonderful emails and calls. When i am able I well update more.

Love always
Renee

MRI UPDATE

I want to say thank you to everyone for all your prayers. It really means a lot to me.

I got the result from my MRI on Friday, it was what I was hoping for but
with God on my side I am going to be fine.

One of the mass was 3.5 cm with a baby growing from it which is .6 cm. They
said my Lymph nodes was very suspicious and enlarged, they want know for
sure if the cancer has spread until the day of the surgery. They said I am
in Stage 2.

They fax all my test to an Oncology for appointment for Monday or Tuesday,
if they are unable to see me before Wednesday, the Surgery is going on with
the operation.

The doctors suggest I have the breast removed, maybe both.

I will let everyone know the day of my surgery, I told them it has to be
before the 20th or after. That is when they kids are having their Christmas
play.

Please continue to pray for me, my doctors and for Steve and the kids.
Please say a special prayer for my mom and brothers, they are having a hard
time also.

UPDATE & PRAYER REQUEST

I got my result back from my test on Wednesday, it wasn't what I wanted to hear. I am asking everyone to please pray for me and my family. I go next week for a MRI to check both Breast and to check to see how deep the mass is. Depending on what the MRI say will depend on what type of surgery I will need. Please say a special prayer for Steve and the kids, I haven't told the kids just yet. I am waiting to see how my MRI turns out. Thanks for all your love and support.

Love in Christ,
Renee

Update from the week

It has been a busy week for us. Stephanie can't seem to get over her cold, she has been sick ever since she started school. Steven got his DTP shot and did really good, thank God. I am hoping he has out grown the problem. I had to go for my first mammogram and let me just say....OUCH..... It had to be a man that came up with this machine......

PRAYER REQUEST

Tonight when you say your prayers, please add my little boy to your prayer list.

Steven is going to get his last DTP shot, due to past history we have to go to the Allergist to get this shot. They have to break the shot down to (4 to 6 shots). This is a whole day, spending at the Allergist.

The worst past history was he stopped breathing on us, thank God for an off duty paramedic at Walmart.

Please pray that Steven does good with this shot........

Teacher & Parent Conference

Steve and I had our first teacher & parent conference. It went really good. The teacher had samples of their work at the first week of school, and work they did this week. You can really tell the difference. The first of every month they do a special me picture, they draw a picture of themselves. The one they did in August Stephanie had purple hair, the picture she draw yesterday; she has brown hair with big teeth. Steven drawing is really good; he is adding a lot of details to his, like shoes, fingernails, and eyelashes. He gets his drawing talent from his daddy. The teacher says, they are the most will behaved kids in the class, but they are so scared on making someone upset. They are no bully.

We have to work on Stephanie small motive skills and get Steven to move along a little faster. The teacher said he is the first one to get started and the last one finish. I guess that is why his pictures looks so good. All in all it went really well.

Now our homework is just beginning, she sent home flash cards we have to work with them every night. Plus we can't forget to read our 5 books every night for the bubble gum reader program.

I think we are back in school, I am so thankful that Steve is helping me with homework.

Stephanie School Party

Since the kids were sick last week, and Monday & Tuesday was teacher workday, we celebrated her birthday today. We took in cupcakes, yahoo drinks, and chips. The teacher made her day extra special. She was line leader, got to pick the prayer of the day, and gave her a book from the class. She also got to take in Coco the monkey she made at Build a Bear on her birthday. Her partner gave her a stuff doggie, she named skip.

Hopefully we will have their party this Sunday, if everyone can stay well.
