My Uncle Clayton had his first chemo treatment on Tuesday for the cancer in his liver and lungs. His body didn't accept the chemo. His liver enzymes counts went sky high, he was told if the counts don't come down he want be able to do chemo again. Plus his body isn't getting rid of the fluids fast enough and the fluid is coming out from his pores. He asks God to let him go to his family reunion last Sunday, he was there and he felt really good.
Here is a picture of Uncle Clayton at the reunion, with my cousin Cookie.
Clayton is 77 years old. He married Betty Rae on March 15, 1949. Together they shared a wonderful life, they moved from West Virginia, to Greensboro. They have three kids: Carolyn, Clayton Ray, and Charles. Seven Grandchildren: Leigh Ann ,Matthew, Kristen, Justin, Nora, Brittany, and Andrew. Four Great Grandchildren: Audrey, Abigail, Little Dennis, and William. Clayton retired from the Greensboro News & Record in June of 91.
Please pray for him and his family.
